COVID-19 is a health challenge unlike
anything we have faced in our lifetimes.
While San Francisco has done its part to keep
the number of infections down,
there is more we can do.

New guidelines have been issued to encourage residents to do their part to stop the spread of COVID-19. Face coverings outside of home are now required. Take a look at SOME TIPS FOR KEEPING SAFE WHILE VISITING WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
San Francisco has now advanced to the State’s Yellow tier. This means that the City will continue to move forward on reopening indoor restaurants and places of worship, and other activities including plans for outdoor family entertainment, playgrounds and indoor movie theaters.

A NOTE ABOUT FACEMASKS:
Everyone must wear a Face Covering when outside their residence if anyone else other than members of their household or living unit is within six feet and must start putting it on early enough to meet the six foot requirement (preferably twelve feet);
Everyone must wear a Face Covering when outdoors where distances between people change frequently and often come to six feet or less, such as a busy sidewalk;
Everyone must wear a Face Covering in the workplace except when in a completely enclosed private space or an isolated area not regularly used by others;
Everyone must wear a Face Covering when in shared areas of buildings including lobbies, common rooms, hallways, laundry areas, food preparation spaces, and bathrooms; and
Everyone must wear a Face Covering when preparing food or other items for sale or distribution to people who are not members of their household or living unit.
